Clean up Day
Today, my sister-in-law and niece volunteered to come over and help us vaccum up water and throw away damaged items, also to go thru other items for a possible yard sale. We got a lot accomplished today.

Water-Water-Water, Water everwhere
This morning I discovered two leaking hot water heaters, what can I say, as far as I know one was the original for the house, the other had been in place for twenty one years I was glad to get rid of the gas units but not too happy to clean up the mess.

Beans are breaking thru
I checked the garden this afternoon, and there were a few beans coming up thru the soil.

Things to consider before getting into genealogy research
1. Are you willing to devote the time it takes?
2. Does your family support your work?
3. Do you have good eyesight?
4. Are you willing to travel?
5. Are you willing to accept whatever you find?
(affairs--children out of wedlock i.e.)
6. Do you have the extra money for this hobby?
Sometimes the costs of gas and the cost of
document copies, food, and maybe lodging
can make for a rather costly outing.

These are some things that I think you should
consider before jumping in (1. consider the time
that you are taking away from your family)

Planting day
Today, with the help of my next door neighbors, Pat and Ted we planted Missouri Wonder Pole beans and put up the cane poles for the beans to run up.

Later that day I put out some tomato plants. It is
a lot of work trying to protect the plants from
destruction by the birds. A bird can pull all the foilage off a plant overnight.

Clean-Up Day
This was clean-up day around the yard and the flower beds to get ready for new plantings.
Now, that the flower beds are cleaned out, it is time to go out to the county to our favorite greenhouse (M & L Greenhouse) and get some new flowers
